1. Who We Are
Seaside Pharmaceutical, Inc. ("Seaside Pharmacy," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed retail pharmacy located at 1104 Fountain Park Circle, Brunswick, GA 31520. We operate this website to provide information about our services and to allow patients to submit refill requests.
2. Information We Collect
When you use our website — including submitting an online refill request — we may collect the following types of information:
Personal Identifiers: Name, date of birth, phone number, and email address
Prescription Information: Prescription number, medication name, prescribing physician, and pharmacy location preference
Contact Preferences: How and when you prefer to be notified when your prescription is ready
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited (collected automatically via cookies or website analytics)
We do not collect payment card information through this website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide solely for the following purposes:
To process and fulfill your prescription refill request
To contact you regarding the status of your prescription
To verify your identity and confirm your prescription on file
To comply with applicable federal and Georgia pharmacy laws and regulations
To improve the functionality and content of our website
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. HIPAA & Protected Health Information
As a covered entity under HIPAA, we treat any health-related information you share with us as Protected Health Information (PHI). We maintain a separate Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) that describes in full detail how we may use and disclose your PHI. You may request a copy of our NPP in person at our pharmacy or by contacting us below.
In general, we will only use or share your PHI to:
Treat you and coordinate your care with your prescriber
Process payment for pharmacy services
Carry out health care operations required by law
Report as required by federal or Georgia state law (e.g., controlled substance reporting to the Georgia PDMP)
5. Online Refill Requests
Refill requests submitted through our website are reviewed and processed by a licensed pharmacist before any medication is dispensed. Submitting a refill request online does not guarantee that the prescription will be filled — a pharmacist will verify eligibility, refill authorization, and any clinical considerations before dispensing.
Important: Controlled substances (Schedule II–V medications) cannot be requested via our online refill form. Please contact the pharmacy directly for controlled substance refills.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect the information you submit through this website, including:
Secure HTTPS encryption for all web traffic
Restricted access to patient information within our pharmacy systems
Compliance with HIPAA Security Rule requirements for electronic PHI
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you have concerns about the security of your health information, you may contact us directly or submit your refill request by phone.
7. Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function as intended.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our website and pharmacy services (for example, our pharmacy management software or website platform provider). Any such vendors are required to protect your information and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to us.
